Project Overview
The Tripoli L1 High Power Rocketry Certification project involved building and launching a high-power rocket to achieve certification standards set by Tripoli Rocketry Association.
The project was carried out during the Spring 2026 semester at AIAA SDSU, involving multiple information and build sessions, two mid-level test launches, and a final certification launch.
The two mid-power test motors were G77-7R and G79-7W. The final certification launch used an H100W-14A, which is a more powerful motor to meet Tripoli L1 certification requirements.
